New Technologies - Solar Photovoltaic Systems Course

The intention of this course is to provide trainees with the correct knowledge to be able to make a needs assessment and equipment requirement evaluation for power supplies and to install solar photovoltaic systems. The curriculum will address the necessary equipment, software and methods of scaling, the most frequently used applications and good installation practices.

Duration : 40 hours

General Objectives
At the end of the training the participant will be able to plan , organize, coordinate and execute the installation, maintenance and repair of solar photovoltaic systems in accordance with the recognized standards, safety regulations and rules of practice.

Recipient Prerequisites:
Solar installers, engineers, architects, planners and stakeholders in the knowledge area.

Training Methodologies
Indoor classroom based training, outdoor installation test site training and on-site / “on the job” training, depending on the contents of the session plan.
